August 23, 2008 Class List
We hope everyone enjoyed the first half of the FCHJA 2008 show season. It is hard to believe that summer has come and gone and everyone is going back to school. There is still lots of showing to do before the end of 2008, so here are some of the fun things that we have in store for you this fall:
- The Fall Benefit show will be held on Sept 27th. We hope to have lots of neat horsey and non-horsey things to bid on at the silent auction. If you know of anyone interested in donating to our silent auction or would like to make a donation and receive an ad in our Benefit Show Program, please contact Gretchen Conkey at conkeygretch@bfusa.com for more information.
- The benefit show is usually one of our biggest of the year, so if you will need stalls, sign up as soon as you receive your prize list. Remember, stalls are on a first come, first serve basis.
- The final show of the season is the Horse of the Year Show, which is always a lot of fun. It will be once again be on Thanksgiving weekend but that only added to the excitement as many riders had family in town for the holiday.
- The season ends for us on December 6th with the end of the year banquet at the St. Augustine Rod and Gun Club. Don’t miss this fun holiday event!
Hope to see you at the August 23rd show! Happy riding! Nancy Wines
